Chicks, Kicks & Glory
In 2010 the University of Amsterdam conducted an anthropological study to find out why so many Dutch-Maroccan girls choose to practice kickboxing since doing so conflicts very often with the mostly conservative culture of their families and neighbours.
Interviews with some of these girls were the basis for six comic stories from seven diferent authors that were used to create a book and a traveling exhibition.
